ABOUT OUR COVER

HANK. Original Oil by Eldridge Hardie - October 11, 1980, Wisconsin. "This was a very first grouse experience. A new short-barreled side-by-side just made for this purpose coupled with a virtual guarantee of birds in a little woodlot made for High Tension. Within minutes, the first grouse flushed and went down hard in a cloud of feathers immediately followed by a second bird that miraculously fell. Elation! Short-lived, it proved, as neither bird could be found. The setter made a brief search but wanted to find new game. Dejection! What a beginning!"

HANK is a private collection and has not been published as a print. For information about Eldridge Hardie's original art or limited editions call (303)-756-5662.
