UPLAND ALMANAC WELCOMES ANTHONY I. MATARESE JR. TO THE TEAM

Boston, MA. – April 11, 2025 – The Upland Almanac, the premier publication for upland hunting enthusiasts, is thrilled to announce the addition of Anthony I. Matarese Jr. to its masthead. Matarese, a seasoned writer and avid outdoorsman, will be contributing regularly to the magazine, bringing his unique perspective and expertise to its pages. As a 26-time NSCA All-American and 18-time Team USA Member, Anthony is one of the most renowned shooters in the sporting clays world with a bevy of regional, national, and world titles under his belt. Alongside his father and brother, Anthony owns and operates M&M Hunting and Sporting Clays, one of the only full-service clay shooting and hunting operations in the United States.

Matarese’s work has appeared in numerous publications, where he has explored topics ranging from bird dog training to conservation efforts to the art of wingshooting. His passion for the outdoors and his deep understanding of the upland hunting tradition make him a valuable addition to the Upland Almanac team.
