Featured Artist: Matt Doyle

Matt has always had a deep passion for the outdoors, sparked by his early experiences in Pennsylvania with his father and grandfathers who shared their love of fishing and hunting. This connection to nature naturally led to his growing interest in wildlife art. As a young artist, Matt began with pencil sketches of superheroes, but his passion for the outdoors gradually transformed his focus. After high school, he pursued a career in wildlife art, attending the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design, where he learned to paint in 2007. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in 2009, officially beginning his artistic career.

After marrying his wife, Janna, in 2013, Matt moved to North Dakota, where they enjoyed exploring places like Yellowstone, Banff, and Jackson Hole, while Matt indulged in his love for bowhunting and fishing. They eventually returned to South Central Pennsylvania to be closer to Matt's family. Now a father, Matt is eager to raise his two children with the same outdoor values he grew up with. His career has flourished, with notable achievements such as being featured as an artist at the 2019 Williston Sports Show, having paintings featured on the cover of Fur-Fish-Game magazine, and receiving "Wildlife Artist of the Year" from the Pennsylvania Taxidermy Association. Additionally, Matt has earned several honorable mentions in state waterfowl and trout stamp contests.
