UA Writers Honored at Michigan Outdoor Writers Conference

Gaylord, MI — At the recent annual conference of the Michigan Outdoor Writers Association held at Treetops Resort in Gaylord, Michigan, writer Jon Osborn took home several awards, one of which was Third Place in the Features category for his story “The Bridge,” which appeared in the Spring 2024 issue of The Upland Almanac.

Also, for the third year in a row, UA Editor Tom Carney’s “Tailfeathers” column was named among the top three in the state.
